Blue Footed Booby

The Blue Footed Booby is a magical looking bird. I took the photo above while traveling with my dad through Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. People say that the name booby is derived from the Spanish word "bobo" which means fool in English. Their scientific name is Sula nebouxii and they are found on islands in the Pacific ocean.

A Backpack Worth Buying.

About a year ago I came across a sale for an all-in-one photography bag by Case Logic that was too irresistible to pass up. I took the plunge and forked over the cash and I haven't been disappointed since.

The backpack has a simple design that has ample space for your camera, two or three lenses and small items like your memory cards and external hard drives. It also comes with a waterproof hood in case you get caught in the rain or a wet environment, which I have on several occasions now.

If you are in the market for a photography bag, I highly recommend this one:

The features, as listed on Amazon, are below:

  • Designed to fit a DSLR camera, 2 to 3 additional lenses, a flash, and accessories
  • Dedicated, padded iPad compartment along the back panel features side access for quick retrieval
  • Adjustable, padded dividers allow you to customize the camera compartment and an elastic strap helps to secure the camera in place
  • Dedicated internal memory card slip pocket
  • Weather hood fits snugly over the bag to protect from the elements (when not in use, store in dedicated back panel compartment)
